Meet Lena Voloshin of LV Group Real Estate. Born in Ukraine, Lena moved to the United States at a young age and has proudly calls Needham home for the last 20 years. After starting her career in the corporate world, Lena discovered her true passion lay in helping people in a more personal and lasting way. Real estate became the perfect avenue, where she could combine her patience, advocacy, and strategic approach to guide families through one of life’s biggest milestones: finding a home. Lena’s dedication and expertise have made her a trusted resource for so many, and we’re fortunate to have her right here in our community.

Tell us about your family!

My husband, Gene, and I are raising two wonderful daughters, our older is a rising junior in college, and our younger is a rising senior in high school. Family is at the heart of everything we do, and our home is made even more lively by our two dogs, who keep us busy and fill our days with joy. I was born in Kiev, Ukraine, and have lived in the United States for most of my life. For over 20 years, Needham has been our home, the place where we’ve raised our girls and built deep roots in the community. It’s a town that means so much to us, offering both a strong sense of belonging and the opportunities of the Boston Metro West area.

What’s your favorite aspect about being part of this community

One of my favorite aspects of being part of the Needham community is the way it feels like an extension of family. There’s a true sense of belonging here where neighbors look out for one another, people genuinely care, and traditions are celebrated in a way that brings everyone together. From our incredible 4th of July festivities to the annual Tree Lighting celebration, Needham knows how to create special moments. Add to that our abundant green spaces, playgrounds, the brand-new town pool, tennis courts, and you’ve got a community that truly supports an active, family-friendly lifestyle. Pair that with our great coffee shops, charming boutiques, and amazing restaurants, and it’s easy to see why Needham feels like so much more than just a town, it’s home.

What’s your favorite family activity to do in the area

One of our favorite family activities in the area is enjoying the many outdoor spaces that make Needham so special. Whether it’s taking the dogs for a walk in one of the beautiful parks, strolling along the rail trail, visiting the pumpkin patch in the Heights, or playing a little tennis, we love how easy it is to stay active together. We also make a point to support the local coffee shops and restaurants. There’s nothing better than running into familiar faces while grabbing a cup of coffee or sharing a meal.

Tell us a little bit about your background and how you became a Real Estate agent

I’ve always been drawn to opportunities where I could make a real impact. After beginning my career in the corporate world, I realized my true calling was real estate, where I could combine strategy, precision, and advocacy to guide clients with clarity and confidence. The dynamic energy of this business inspires me, and I’ve built my reputation on negotiation, organization, and results.

As a partner in Catalyst Development, the building company I run with my husband, I bring a unique advantage in new construction. That perspective allows me to look beyond the surface of a property and offer clients insights and opportunities that few others can provide. Founding LV Group Real Estate has been about creating a brand built on integrity, care, and a client first experience. For me, real estate is not simply about buying or selling a home, it is about creating opportunities, building relationships, and shaping the future.

Every home tells a story, and I love being trusted to be part of that story. I approach each client with strategy and care, helping families and individuals navigate their next steps with confidence. Whether it’s guiding someone through their very first purchase, supporting a family as they grow, or working with a seller who values discretion, it’s deeply rewarding to match people with spaces that truly reflect who they are

We understand working in real estate is not your typical Monday through Friday type of job. How do you create a balance between work and motherhood?

It’s definitely a balancing act, but one I value deeply. I’ve learned to be intentional with my time. When I’m with my family, I’m fully present, and when I’m with my clients, they know they have my complete focus. Real estate isn’t a typical nine-to-five career, but that flexibility is a gift. It allows me to be there for my daughters’ milestones while still giving my clients the dedication and attention they deserve.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job is the relationships I build. For me, the real reward is being trusted as a strategist and advocate during such a meaningful transition in someone’s life. When clients return years later or refer their friends and family, it’s the greatest compliment and a reminder of why I love what I do. I also love running into clients at shops and restaurants around town, or meeting up for coffee and dinners. Those moments make it clear that these connections go far beyond real estate.

What is your #1 piece of advice for someone looking to buy or sell a home?

Don’t just hire an agent, work with a trusted advisor who combines strategy, local expertise, and genuine care. Real estate is one of the most important transitions in your life, and you need someone who will cut through the noise, anticipate challenges, and guide you with precision every step of the way. The right broker doesn’t just get the deal done, but they understand your goals, protect your interests, and make sure you never feel like it’s just a transaction.

What is the best advice you’ve gotten from another mom?

That it’s okay to not do everything at once. Life has seasons, and giving yourself permission to slow down in some areas so you can be fully present in others is a gift.

Thank you, Lena, for letting us get to know you! To learn more about LV Group Real Estate, visit her website or follow along with lena on instagram at @Lenarealtor.
