Meet Jennifer Vohra, a local Needham mom of two. Originally from India, Jennifer moved to the U.S. to pursue her master’s and doctorate in physical therapy and has called the Boston area home ever since. With over 16 years of experience as a physical therapist, Jennifer saw a clear need within the community to better care for women, especially mothers, who were living with pain and being told it was “normal.” This inspired her to open Bloom Pelvic Health & Wellness. With an established location in Chelmsford and a newly opened location in Needham, her mission is to provide individualized, evidence-based pelvic health care so women can feel strong, confident, and supported at every stage of life. Let’s get to know Jennifer!
Tell us about your family! How many children do you have, where are you from, and where do you live now?
I was born and raised in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, I moved to the U.S. to pursue my master’s and doctorate in physical therapy. I’ve been in the Boston area for over 14 years and now live in Needham with my husband and our two children (ages 5.5 and 4). We love weekend adventures, traveling, and exploring together as a family.
What’s your favorite aspect about being part of this community?
The real, honest support from other moms. Open conversations, shared experiences, and exchanging tips on everything from leaks to life.
What’s your favorite family activity to do in the area?
Beach trips and family bike rides, which keep everyone active, happy, and connected.
Tell us more about your background and why you decided to open Bloom Pelvic Health & Wellness.
I’ve been a physical therapist for over 16 years and repeatedly saw women—especially during pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and post-menopause—living with pelvic pain, leakage, and core issues long after symptoms began because they were told it was “normal.”
I opened Bloom Pelvic Health & Wellness to provide pelvic health care with real solutions and individualized support. We opened our first location in Chelmsford, MA four years ago, and our second location in Needham, MA in January 2026.
What do you love most about what you do?
Seeing women return to the activities they love—running without leaking, lifting with confidence, and reclaiming intimacy. Those moments are true game-changers.
It’s so hard to balance work and mom life. How do you maintain a healthy work life balance?
Intentional scheduling, protected family time, and prioritizing my own movement and workouts.
What is the best advice you’ve gotten from another mom?
Progress over perfection—one step at a time.
What is the best advice you’d like to give a mom?
Listen to your body early. Addressing pelvic floor concerns sooner rather than later can prevent years of unnecessary struggle.
Thank you Jennifer for letting us get to know you!
